As Lacinia described her skill, Saena grew intrigued, but also disbelieving. Surely paralyzing a wolf could be useful for the benefit of the one who did it, but since it was impossible to do in the midst of a fight, it seemed to lose its merit. No wolf that Saena knew would subject themselves to paralysis willingly, and few wolves were stupid enough to let another sneak up on them. Still, despite its seemingly limited usefulness, Saena asked, "what is acupuncture?" in the hope of learning more. It was still a skill worthy of explanation.
Lacinia offered herself as (what sounded like) a potential Warden, and Saena grinned. "Order can easily be maintained within the hierarchy by individuals, but the borders could use a stronger guard than myself," she said, "I don't intend to let trespassers get away with it." Although Saena was a cultured female who was typically gentle, if not sharp of tongue, she was still a wolf capable of savagery when necessary. It was an instinct to kill a trespasser, so she wouldn't think twice if it ever came to that, though she also wouldn't look forward to the day it inevitably did.
"I can show you to the ridge now and tell you about the other wolves there, if you like," Saena offered, extending a formal invitation to Lacinia if the loner chose to take it.
