Lacinia managed to salvage Saena's impression of acupuncture with her concise but informative explanation. It seemed to involve touch and pressure, and while it wasn't likely Saena would ever indulge in it, it seemed like a decent way for a wound-up wolf to relax. That Lacinia might prefer to use it to cause pain rather than pleasure never occurred to Saena, who had never met a wolf that enjoyed others' suffering.

She paused in her fluid movement when Lacinia asked if they could tame some males. Saena looked to her newest recruit, true concern etched on her brows and in the depths of her indigo eyes. What sort of society must she have come from to thinking that taming was appropriate or even possible? They were wolves, wild animals. Even the most laid-back wolf was still a wolf. "I don't know what that means, exactly, but absolutely not," Saena sternly said. "Everyone gets their autonomy so long as they stay within the laws of the pack, which are obvious things. We will have guardians, and they will do it willingly, not because of some... taming procedure."

With that clarified, the dappled young woman led the way back to the ridge, unable to contain some excitement about showing Lacinia around.
