They were wrapped in silence. He inhaled, sucking in a deep breath before releasing it slowly. Luke had said this was supposed to be easy, simple. They'd also agreed Kero was overthinking it. The mind was a great and terrible thing. 

"Alright."

The word cut through the air. 

"I'll do it."

He dropped to the ground, rolling onto his back to expose the soft side of his belly. He turned his head to glance at her, presenting his throat.
