"Deal," Luke chirped, leaning into Lasher's embrace. He spoke no more, and neither did his lover, until at last they could linger in one another's company no more. With a warm farewell they parted ways, but the mood was not sullen. As if he did not smile nor wag his tail enough, Luke did both for quite sometime after, and he felt warmer and more content than he had for a very long time.
