Burke looked at the female. "I'm sorry. I assumed," he spoke more honestly. He had been lucky with the upbringing he had. Burke had a loving father and mother for that fact. He learned how to be an alpha and how to run his own pack. He got the hardships when he was a young adult which made him a lot more sensible. It seemed everyone had their own hardships at times. Some in the beginning of life and some later on. "Don't worry we will get you to be a super hunter! Practice makes Perfect," he spoke to encourage her.
He let her eat since he had enough already and he didn't want another bloat attack now Meldresi was gone. She saved his life, and Burke really learned to take it easier. The large male took his rest after a meal. Burke nodded and then hunched down. "Yes. I do," he whispered. "But we can't go by sound only. It might be something big so we need to do this together. We have to sneak closer and watch our prey. That way we can learn if it has any weakness. If we start charging now it will out run us. We have to be smarter," Burke kept his voice low. The tank moved forward, surprisingly without making a sound. His body low to the ground, eyes focussed as he creeped closer.
