Like Shego, Lakhesis was not saddened by the fact that their sister had not made it. They needn't be. They would find her again here.
Before she left, she mentioned this strange place. To the west. This was as far west as they had come, and it seemed suitable. They needed a place to stay, to rest and feed and find. After their welcoming by the priestess of the woods and her dock-tailed mate, the pair had split. Lakhesis headed deeper into the marshes in the far reaches of the territory, eager to explore and find. She did not discover anything, however, save for the skull of a raven she now held delicately in her jaws as she retreated back to her sister.
She found her being confronted by a male with an inky coat that seemed to absorb light itself, his muzzle the only part untouched by shadows. The girl slid forward, emerging out of the trees and drawing up behind Shego, placing the skull gently next to the bloodied bones. A gift, for both her sister and this forest. She then looked up to the male, confused by his words.
