His ear swivelled to the sound of howling, screaming, the shrill song of someone panicked. He lifted his head, turning to face the direction of the hollering. He had managed to rest without anyone passing by, but it seemed that peace was not meant to be. He pursed his lips, and for an irritated moment considered ignoring the pleas for help and going on his way. But with a sigh, he stood and loped toward the cries.
He found a hole, and in this hole he found a female trying - and failing - to climb out. She was fine though. She just could not go anywhere. He settled his stomach, crossing his legs as he peered down at her with a stoic face. "What's in it for me if I help you out?"
