I thought I'd replied to this already! 

The hit connected but June didn't register that it meant it was her turn. She reached her rock gleefully and looked around from behind it. Did she see Mason chasing after her, or was her now running away? Regardless, she would be coming out from behind her rock and running in his direction. Her mind had forgotten the rules of tag, the requirement for one to be hit and then become the chaser. Instead she was just running and playing.

The aim of this carefully running was to pounce on her brother dearest and turn the game of tag into a pleasant, lovable rough'n'tumble session. She innately honing those hunting skills that later life might rely on.
