Running away, finding myself

Iris froze. She had wanted to avoid mentioning her ties to Alpha's. Her parents knew of everything that went on in the neighboring land, the Teekon. She had only guessed this was the pack that she had heard the name of. She knew that her mother had been born somewhere around here, and had numerous ties to the land surrounding. I was only by chance that she had picked up on the name. 
She shifted uncomfortably, but trying her best not to make it noticeable. "Can I leave it at, I have heard of the name among small talk. Nothing big. I promise i'm not a threat or a spy if that's what you're wondering. I simply seek this small haven for my own purposes", she calmly replied. She spoke only with truth, looking into his eyes. And she didn't want to spark any suspicion. Mentioning her Alpha parents would have definitely caused intense question, and she didn't want that. She only wanted to get away from them and forget. No anchor would hold her back from being free. Not again.
