Nova Peak the jungle slang

Urgh, so many questions. Bazi herself wasn't entirely sure if clouds were hard or soft - for all she knew, enormous clusters of fluffy willow seed ruled the skies above them. "No, not soft," she told Pasha, crinkling her brow. "I think they're just.. air." She nearly started a sentence with You know when... but stopped. Pasha absolutely did not know when - he had yet to see his first winter, when breath turned to miniature clouds, and she hoped he would have worked things out by then. "I don't know why, either," she shrugged. "When you're older, I'll take you upon Nova Peak. Then you can see for yourself. The clouds just.. go through you. OK?" The mother looked down at her son, hoping that the promise of a future adventure would satisfy his curiosity for now.
