The female didn't look pleased at the mention of other pups, well, that was her problem to deal with. Burke wanted to inform her that he and Meldresi were expecting their last litter but she was still a stranger and such information was of no use to a stranger until she would actually join their ranks. Burke slowly nodded as she started to explain where she was from. "Pack tragedies, always a good way to start a new life. So, I guess you are alright. You have the work spirit and you seem to want to learn our culture. Only that collar-thing is hideous, but I guess you can't do much about that."
