 When he told her to let her paw heal, she couldn't help but look down at it. It was healing well, but she may have a slight limp in it forever. That wouldn't stop her from hunting though. Being selfless would be hard, but not impossible. She was already selfless for her family, who's to say she couldn't be for others? Winter was a great advantage she had. Lone wolves could be desperate for a home and she could take them in. As long as they benefited.
