Fearing that his son would attack, he turned to tell Nightjar to stand down, only to realize the other wolf must have gone scouting in a different direction at some point. He couldn't be far.

Turning back toward Leo and favoring the boy with the right side of his face, Peregrine narrowed his eyes. "Wrong," he said bluntly. "You shouldn't be here. Your parents are shitstains and you're going to have to pay for their idiocy..." he threatened, taking a step toward the young cub.
