Haunter was already gone by the time Fox awoke, but that was the way things usually worked between the two. It really was a pity that the yearling was not of brooding age, or she would have surely been planning out her childrens' names right then and there. Alas, she still had another year left to go, and there was nothing she could do to make the process happen anytime sooner. Shaking her coat, Fox began trotting away from her den and out into the bright world. The sun had only just come up, but she was convinced it would be a bright and sunny day. It would do good for pack morale, something Fox felt they still desperately needed. She picked up on Bones's scent, and without hesitation, began following it until she was within a few paces of the younger girl. “Bones,” she greeted, moving forward until her nose touched the girl's shoulder in a friendly manner. Fox had not really spoken to her since the cougar incident (at least that she could recall), and she wondered how the youth was holding up.
