Oblivious to her foster sister's unhappy squalls, Osprey Jr. turned to explore in another direction when she found herself being airlifted rather suddenly. The puppy yipped in surprise, then began pedaling all four of her stumpy legs. When she made contact with the earthen floor again, she fell forward onto her chin with an involuntary oof and then gave an indignant, whimpering bark.

An odor filled the den, one that Osprey recognized by now. She felt another blob—the familiar one this time—beside her and it began to shuffle and vibrate, perhaps in reaction to the scent. Osprey Jr. didn't care much for the rancid smell but she did like the original blob, so she pressed her damp nose against Ty and deigned to scoot after her wherever she went. Current destination: Pura's smelly bum.
