Damien's mind was racing back and forth. How could his things, his relics be gone forever? Maybe there was a mistake, perhaps this was not his den and he had overseen the old entrance in his way here. The flood had moved pretty much everything around, and he remembered a fallen tree blocking the entrance before he could retreat the contents of his chamber of secrets. Yes, that's what was going on. That wasn't Damien's den.... And those poor foxes had been slaughtered by mistake..........

As soon as Damien realized he could have been wrong, his eyes went crazy trying to find the actual den, but he couldn't see anything. Perhaps if he re-traced his steps he would find it.
