Porcupine Ridge Second sight has paid off well

Quickie before I head out.

Others arrived, and he regarded them with a quick look. He did not miss the lift of his alpha female's muzzle or the brisk ice she threw in his direction. His ears turned back for all but a moment, acknowledging her and her rightful scorn. He owned his mistake, and would work to rebuild the damage done. For now, his attention was on the two males.

There was a lot of strong posturing, and not wolf looked to back down. Terich was determined to keep his rank, and Farstep was determined to take it. The black wolf kept a close watch, but rose to his paws as their dominance intensified. It appeared to him that this would come down to a scuffle, or the opinion of the pack. Taggarik preferred the latter option.

He stepped forward holding himself high, his tail rising like a flag above his hips, his ears forward, and he took his paces toward Terich, favoring Farstep for beta, and asking that the current one back down.
