"Sleeping beauty rises at last," Ira sneered to the other boy, only calling the shadow 'sleeping beauty' in the hopes of getting a rise out of him, and for the simpler fact that it amused Ira to no real end. Ira did not particularly find anything relatively entertaining about watching Jace eat the scrawny scrap of food Ira had presented him with - not because he cared either way if Jace starved or not but mainly because he didn't want to waste anymore time. The sooner this day was over with, the sooner he could return to Jinx and get as far as was possible within Swiftcurrents' lands away from Jace. Never mind that Ira was in an extremely sadistic manner, thoroughly enjoying himself with ordering the other around.
