Renn twitched her tail in response and paused to think things through before she made a move. One of her strengths certainly was being able to stalk silently as she had proved when she had shadowed the pair. It was one thing to be able to creep around without a sound but that was futile if your target caught your scent. A frown played out across her feature as she ran the thought through her head. She hadn't had much experience with wind direction, nor had really noticed it before, but Veritas had showed her the basics back in the canyon so it was now time to put those words of wisdom into practice.

Average, northerly wind. She cocked her head to one side and slipped into the forest, hopefully downwind of the alpha, blending in quite nicely with the shadows. Though, that would make it hard to spot him in all this gloom. Nevertheless, she continued quietly, trying hard to avoid the leaves and twigs that littered the forest floor. It certainly was challenging but she managed it, following Cog's trail in between the trees.
