Once again, the young female nodded eagerly and darted back into the gloom of the forest, her pelt becoming one with the shadow. For once it payed to be a black wolf. Shaking her head, she focused her thoughts on her second task. This time, Cog had instructed her to become somewhat like prey, flitting silently through the darkness in hope to avoid getting tackled. Moving forward at a respectable pace, she stumbled upon a pond, tainted black by plant matter from the surrounding foliage. A wild idea suddenly sprang up and she leapt into the pool, ignoring the ice cold shock and covering her pelt with as much stinking material as she could, hoping that at least it would quench her scent enough to be a little less detectable. Giving her frame a quick shake, she continued swiftly onward stopping now and then to check for signs of her alphas presence.
