The man dipped his head to give her a chance to flicker away. After a bit, he looked up. He looked around, and dipped his head to the ground, trailing her scent. He pricked up his ears to hear the sound of a soaked pelt. He quickly went into panic. Did she fall. He quickly ran to the pond. "Renn are you ok? Did you fall? Are you hurt?" he said quickly, before stepping close to her, looking up and down her body, circling her. He needed to get her warm. Did she fall? His mind drew a blank, waiting for her to answer. His little training session flew out of his mind. When he was a pup he fell through the ice and into a frozen river. What did his parents do? They licked him, and huddled around him. That's what he needed to do.
