Goober nodded agreeably when Smash suggested that he go north while she went south. Considering his sense of direction wasn't that great, he probably wouldn't follow the plan to a T, but it would be close enough. And hey, as long as he was looking out for the names mentioned, he'd be fulfilling his half of the deal.

As Smash headed one direction, Goober headed the other. "See you soon!" he hollered as an afterthought, a pep in his step that hadn't been there for quite some time.
