Gilded Bay no fun

Dice rolls are cool with me! :D

The coyote was persistent, but his prey was doubly so. It stayed within the confines between the two rocks, safe from the jaws of the predator. It's spindly forelimbs were outstretched and poised, pinchers at the ready. However Sica couldn't quite get close enough. His fur bristled as he scrabbled and rubbed his nose against the rock until it was raw but it was in vain effort.

The boy withdrew with a huff, tail swinging madly behind him in frustration, before his attention was caught by a shift in the breeze that brought with it a dangerous scent. He turned slowly, taking a few moments to spot the sand and rust-coloured wolf amongst the backdrop of the bay. There was a certain determination in it's stride and Sica watched worriedly before backing up, hurrying to break the line of sight between him and the larger animal. However, that would prove to be a challenge, seeing as he was in the middle of an open bay and the wind shifted once more out of his favour.
