It was a bit sad to learn that the scar was permanent. It wasn't like it was hindering him in any way. He did want to forget about the huge mistake he made but would that really be a good thing to forget? Probably not. He needed to remember what he has done, that was the only possible reason for him to keep the scar. He didn't really have a choice in the matter but he easily accepted it. "That's okay, I don't mind having this scar forever." He said while remaining positive about it.
Soon Spring pointed out a possible den for Esaro. He looked at it for a while and recognized it. This was the tree that he showed Laika during winter. It was on a day where the tree had thin layers of ice on the branches and leaves. He had never noticed there was a hole, maybe it was covered by snow back then. Spring was the first to go in. He assumed that there wasn't much room so he waited for her to exit. Except it turned out that there was plenty of room. As he stepped in he accidentally bumped his head on Spring. "Oh, Sorry." He blocked the light that came in and didn't actually see where Spring was. He moved to the other side to let in the light. With two wolves it was a little crowded, just barely enough room for two. "This is the same tree I showed Laika during the winter. I never noticed that there was a den here."
