His babbling went right through her ears, as she nodded along in an act of interest. Once he finished talking, having obviously lost interest that she didn't have what he wanted, he made to leave.
Kunik nodded in departure, not bothering to say anything. She turned away from him, an ugly expression coming across her face as if she had smelt a skunk. I hope he eats nightshade.
