OOC: "Big Water" is Macawi's phrase for the ocean, since before coming to the Teekon Wilds, she had never seen the ocean before.

IC: Macawi grinned at her new friend. "No, no," she said, denying the offer of half of the fish. "Macawi will simply catch another for herself. Eat. This wolf and her unborn pups need the strength."

The coy-wolf turned back to the river and waited, just as she had the first time. In another minute or two, she had another fish in her jaws. She swiveled back to Thistle and lay down, dropping her meal between her paws. She took a bite of fresh fish thoughtfully, chewing slowly. Then she swallowed the mouthful and asked, "What does Thistle wish to talk about this day beside Big Water?"
