"Uhh, well…" Macawi began awkwardly. "Macawi has found a pack, but she is not quite sure about it… She sort of… went off on the alpha for calling Macawi 'your breed'. What Macawi means is, they chased Macawi around for a while, and when they finally stopped chasing her, the alpha said, 'What are you doing here? You should know going this close to a pack's borders is suicide. Especially for someone of your breed.' And, well… Macawi sort of snapped and yelled at her, and now she is not sure if she will be welcome. But Macawi wants to be a member of that pack. Macawi's best friend is there - no offense to Thistle, of course. Thistle is Macawi's good friend also."

Macawi sighed. "Coyote is afraid she will be packless forever. Wolves and Coyotes are meant to be a part of a pack. Macawi is tired of being lonely." The coy-wolf stared off into space for a little while, and then shook herself. "But forgive Macawi. How has Thistle been? How is her mate, the angry one?" She cracked a grin at this, eyes glowing with their usual joy and mischief.
