Seeing the girl was quiet after asking, Krypton could feel herself start to sweat in nervousness. She exhaled softly, soon plopping down and looking at Odette softly. "There is something you deserve to know about your father, Odette" she said calmly, hoping to catch the girl's attention. After having Odette run off, Krypton couldn't bare to hear her cry in the den. She knew it was wrong of her to not tell the truth, but what could she do? Tell Odette that her dad was dead? It seemed insensitive to do such a thing.

Yet... Odette deserved to know about her father. Whether he was alive or not, what he was like, how she reflected him. She deserved to know everything about FitzDutiful, she had the divine right.
