Ambrosia had been in and out of the territory the past week, coming back each night long after everyone is asleep and leaving at the break of dawn. She wasn't avoiding anybody, nor doing anything wrong: she just couldn't keep herself still. For the most part, she actually did stay within the borders in this time of hunger. But now plant life was growing back, and she was no longer content to wander within her home.
Today, still, she was padding along the fen, scenting for anybody close. She felt lonely, to her own fault of course, and wished to bond closer to anyone in the pack. This was home, right? She didn't always want to be away from here, and wanted to have a reason to come back other than her now-grown daughter who didn't even need her anymore. Her nephew had found her out here so far from home, and she was hoping to find @Embry and see what things had been like after she left.
There had been no goodbye, no warning. Nobody would've expected the so so close lead protector and devoted daughter of the alpha to kill almost her entire healthy litter, let alone take off in the night with the only survivor. She hadn't stayed close, she'd only stopped to check on the wee girl and let her nurse, constantly traveling until she was sure nobody would be following two days later.
The tawny female followed along his most recent scent trail, hoping to find him alone and not busy. Perhaps they could catch up, bond? Would he know and blame her for what she did? Would she tell him, if he didnt?
