Then, remembering she was the one who had just tresspased, and how badly she wanted to join,--- wait, did she just say my tribe? Holy crap, she's the alpha. Suprised, she resumed her submissive stance, and said in a calmer voice "I'll wait by the border then. Three days is the longest I'll wait. After that, the food will have run out and I'll assume I'm not wanted here." With that, she turned around and dejectedly started to head back to the border. They probably didn't want her. Heck, if she were the alpha, she wouldn't want her either. Stupid, stupid, stupid. She messed up. Her one chance. Gone. A year of traveling and hoping, wasted.
