Silvertip Mountain Thousand Years

She asked why she couldn't see Fitz, and Steady thought for a moment. Death was hard to explain to a child, without having them totally lose their innocence. He isn't something you can see anymore, he said softly. He used to be, just like you and me. But, his body gave out one day. So, now the body is buried, but his feeling lives on. Sometimes, it seems as though he's standing right next to me. At least, sometimes Steady thought he did. Maybe it was wishful thinking, maybe it was something Steady's mind forced him to feel to help the pain he felt at his brother's passing. Who knew? 

He sighed, hoping he was making some kind of sense to her. Then, an idea came to mind. You know what wind feels like? That movement you feel in the air, that ruffles your fur, but you can't actually see it? Feeling him is almost like that, but less obvious. He watched her, wondering if that made sense.
