Firefly Ravine Can you hear me now?

How could her mother think the world was all normal? It was chaos, pure chaos for the little girl. Everything terrified her to the core, and there was nothing the thingymedingy could do to prevent it. The world was strange, unpredictable, and she couldn't deal with this. When she was pushed away, her big blue eyes opened wide, and she quickly stubled back to her mother with a pleading whimper. But alas, an earthquake prevented her from nestling herself into the soft fur. Or it was the thingymedingy moving, she could tell the difference.

She fell back on her spine, and there she rolled for a moment. Her wide blue eyes, that would one day resemble that of her mother, blinked in astonishment. What had happened? She babbled some high-pitched terrified made up words- if you could even call them that- and got onto her little belly again. She would not give up. Her mother had to protect her, no matter what the voice was trying to tell her.

She pulled herself together and stumbled back, this time settling at one of her paws and crawling behind it for cover. She whimpered again, and just hoped this would all be over soon.
