When she received no word from the other, nor any sign of submission, her brow furrowed in anger. Who was the idiot who let this one in, if it could not show respect where respect was due? It did not even offer a name. The look on her face was of shock, for she had not received such rude behavior from anyone inside of Blackfeather Woods before. She almost did not know how to react. Almost.
"Are you deaf?" Her voice came out in a snarl, no sign of patience though her tone stone cold and the least bit accepting. Her eyes had narrowed, her form swelling so that she may size the other up though she knew she did not need to it. It would submit, like every other wolf in their ranks. No exceptions. She did not take note of Damien's scent mingled with the strangers, and she would not care. Damien was not the only ruler in Blackfeather woods, and he was certainly not the most worthiest. While Damien was by blood, entitled to the pack, they stood with the same power, and those who did not treat her as such would sooner leave than wait around to feel what happened when respect was not rightfully given.
"Submit," It was not a question, nor a suggestion, but a command. And her gaze, the malevolent one that just dared the male not to comply, bore down upon him and did not leave his face. There was one way they could go about this, he would look at her like she was his superior, or she would make him. It was simple. There was not spot in the dark woods for a subject who did not know his place.

the only way to keep your people loyal is
to make certain they fear you more than they do the enemy
to make certain they fear you more than they do the enemy
