Silvertip Mountain Don't sink

His expression was curious as Ezekiel spoke. Steady could tell it was a subject that his friend spoke easily on, and he couldn't very well blame him after hearing about his old home. Steady hated that it seemed Ezekiel had to be raised in a manner in which he was so obviously not suited for. But, the Alpha also realized something else. You know, no matter how much you might hate the past and what has happened, it got you to where you are now. And I'm thankful to have you here, he said sincerely. 

He hoped that could put a more positive spin on how Ezekiel looked at his past. He wasn't sure who would be here now, trying to lift up the depressed Alpha, if it wasn't Ezekiel. Maybe no one would have and Steady would have continued to spiral downwards. Thankfully, that wasn't the case. Rising to his feet, knowing he wouldn't ask his friend more of the past, Steady thought a patrol might do him some good. I think I'm going to go patrol. You're welcome to come, if you feel like it, he offered.
