Thankfully if he was pitying her, he didn't make a big show of it. He was fine with just letting her have the moment of sorrow without making it this all consuming thing. She'd done her time trying to sort out her feelings and her sorrows - and the pregnancy hadn't helped it at all. She was still convinced that Aria's jealousy had swept her up and caused the pale female to cast her out. There was no other explanation. Rowan gave a little nod, her eyes meeting his for a moment. "Thank you, there are a great number who miss him." She said gently. "His successor couldn't abide my presence but I feel it may be for the best." She was not worried now, and she had found a peace in her condition that she had lacked earlier. 

Her smile grew as he commented on her safety, and the look of her silver eyes softend a bit. "I am fortunate." She said softly. "Donnelaith is out near the coast - it was quite a journey. I did have the benefit of seeing the landscape and how gorgeous it was." She would see the benefit in the world even if it was hard to do so.
