King Elk Forest What Arrows

So it turned out that Lasher was a guy with a bit of mystery around him. At first, he thought maybe Lasher had been a popular guy- after all, he'd snagged a beautiful, confident woman to bear his children- but obviously he hadn't been in the perfect position in the pack, if Rowan thought she and her children would be safer opting for another a pack following Lasher's death. There had to be some reason a wolf who was well missed was not given a bit of space in the pack for his children to live in...Times were tough, but the wolves of Donnelaith, wherever that was, must have been even tougher. 

Regardless, Rowan seemed to have healed since, and spoke rather of the travel from Donnelaith to Silver Creek. She spoke of the ocean, something that Shrike had never seen nor did he care to. A body of water that large just seemed unnatural and frightening. "Sounds like you like to travel," He commented, seeing as she was happier to talk about seeing the countryside than about herself. "I'm kind of the same. Only just settled down. More or less." He said.
