As Shrike spelled out the details of the mission, Peregrine couldn't help but think of that day when he'd run into Charon. He'd accused Peregrine of harboring a dangerous wolf who had done some wrong unto Moonspear. Of course, the swarthy Alpha had done no such thing and he hadn't really cared about the other pack's plight, especially not with that little asshole at its helm. He couldn't help but wonder if the nearby packs would assist the caldera now that the tables were turned. This might be a futile endeavor for Teagan, though Peregrine supposed it didn't hurt to try.
