He grinned just slightly as he saw how sheepish she looked. Even when he hugged her he could feel her tensed muscles, but he blamed her heat for that. Never would the idea of Avannon having a crush on him cross his mind, not after what Vector had done to her- but the idea shot through him when she began embracing him as well, burying his own nose into her fur as well. 

I don't just go hugging everybody, you know? This is a good step forward... He said, voice just a little muffled as he tried to talk like this, muzzle all snuggled into her snow fur- quite the opposite of his own color scheme.
