Coconut Grove little talks

deirdre watched the other as she moved the coconut, her eyes trailing it as it rolled away. but then october was in her peripherals, and beyond them! the coconut moved at no great pace in the sand; the lissome girl rose to catch up to the thing that moved, and when she did reached it, she swatted at it with a paw to push it. it rolled in another direction, and deirdre glanced back toward october with a gleam in her eye. it was rare deirdre ever played, truly, but she was young, still, and indulged in it now!
