She placed her head on his shoulder, softly running her nose through his soft fur that smelled as much like the sea as she did. She came back not so very later, the bone stuck between her teeth. Her eyelids were half-closed and she padded to Arturo's side, following him silently. She was too tired to talk, and as soon as they got to the place Arturo used as a den, she fell asleep against him almost immediately.
