She asked if he knew the names and Peregrine froze. If she had mentioned them to him in the past, he'd forgotten. He sheepishly said, "Larry, Curly and Mo?" He huffed a laugh, then added, "Of course, Oss." He didn't even need to think about it and Peregrine knew the favor would be returned without his even having to ask.

Although he would have liked to prolong these moments forever, he knew it was only a matter of time before Osprey had to return to said family and hit the road. Peregrine licked his lips and caught her eye, gazing openly into her face as he said, "You were my favorite since the day we were born. You will always be my favorite. I'm going to miss you so much."
