Neverwinter Forest Alas, I am someone changed forever

No prob, I'm late too!

She lay there for a long while, desperate, confused, and filled with terror. Yet she lay there, still as a log. She was petrified, she didn't know what to do. She couldn't see. Would this be forever? Would this be temporary? She was scared. 

Just then, a voice reached her ears. It was Scimitar and her head shot up. "S- cimitar? Scimitar wh-where a-are yo-ou?!" She exclaimed, her voice wavering with fear. Her head whipped around, eyes stretching as wide as they could. She tried so hard to see him, to find him, but not matter how hard she tried, it was no use. Her breath quickened, as did her heart until she couldn't figure out which one was faster. Between her trembling gasps for air, she whispered, "I-I c-can't s-s-see." Her voice was meek and hopeless, barely audible.
