With the pups close to due it was vital that as many wolved were scent marking as possible. With so many different scents it would prove their strength to passers-by, detering them from investigating further. It would also help to meld their scents together, so that they became one scent, one pack, one mind. She knew that Alder would be all over the partolling business, however that was only three sometimes four of them scent marking. With the other three pack members being pregnant, it would become increasingly difficult for them to venture away from their respective whelping dens. She had no doubt that Streiter would continue to do border patrols from now on, if he hadn't already been doing so. Had anyone shown him the extent of their borders? Shalon had no idea, but she figured he would speak up if he was confused.
