Alpine Lake Seeking

The Hinterlands, as they were called, were full of rivers and marshes, mountains dominating the south and eastern skies. It was beautiful, but he knew it was not all Teekon had to offer. Bastian dragged himself north, where the mountains and hills were shorter, to where he could cross over into the rest of this Teekon place. He moved quickly, hoping to out run winter and find a warm place to weather its cold grip, until he reached a lake, high above the rest of the land.
