Alpine Lake Seeking

The appearance of another sent her ears perking and focused her eyes from their lazy haze. The other approached, interested in her apparently. It was a male, which at first gave her more confidence in her approach. Yet as she lifted herself into a more alert position the pull of her stomach reminded her of her blessing. 

Mm. A conundrum. She wasn't used to being seductive with a belly full of young. Perhaps seduction would not be the best path, then again, the male's intent focus gave her hope. There was undoubtedly a beauty in pregnancy, could this man see it? Is that what held his attention so? He was a warm mix of brown and chocolate, some gray thrown in here and there. She thought the grey there form birth rather than from aging, however.

He spoke a language she didn't recognize, but she could hear the greeting in his words all the same. She smiled warmly, tilting her head slightly, relieved as he switched to english. "Good day yourself, friend." Her voice too was warm, inviting. "I can't say I know what you first said, your foreign tongue is mysterious to my ears. You are welcome to my name, though, if you'd like. I am Asherah, Acolyte of the Malkaria. Who might I have the pleasure of meeting this fine day?"
