Hushed Willows thing one thing two

i know this thread is pretty old so if nobody replies, i can archive :)

seconds, minutes passed before she began to move. sobs ceased to dead silence as her children moved away. what had she expected but more than fear? revulsion? amara would receive no pity from a distant crowd, and less so from infants who had no concern for her. she closed her eyes, laying her head down with an empty mind other than the overwhelming feeling of failure. blocking all other emotions than the pitiful one she lay resigned to, coma-like slumber took over her in the absence of anything other to feel, to distract her from her own misdeeds. what the young ones did in the aftermath of the breakdown did not weigh the slightest on her mind as the floating feeling of relief took her over.
