Still, what would have been a more enthusiastic greeting from the swarthy guardian became one of caution. The stranger within view seemed to tear away at something, and the eldest Mayfair rounded closer to Eilidh as she began to close the distance between the two.
 
There was something complete about having Eilidh here, at the Plateau once more – this was their heritage, and he longed to ensure it thrived once more.
