Broken Antler Fen Long Road Ahead

The man met her stare unflinchingly, and this ruffled her pelt a little -- she took another step closer, but listened to his words -- even if he'd caught it elsewhere. Her own were loud enough to carry to Onai, but gruff and maybe even a little more cold for someone usually so sweet. After all, this was the borders of her home she was protecting -- the borders of the only home she'd ever had, surrounding the only family she ever knew beside Ammie -- and nothing would get past her while there was breath in her body.

             "Mouthy for someone who knows theres a pack here, but you're right: you haven't done anything wrong."

A snort billowed from her nose, but it was here she sat -- content to watch, talk, but not leave her borders. In truth, she did want him to leave, but before she could take him up on it, he was talking again: so he already had issues with another pack? This brought her brow to a crease, and she laughed. 

                                                           "Must be either dumb or persistent, too, if you've already pissed off some other wolves."
