After the incident, Hiram would take more time than usual to walk the border. There, he could think with a clear head. And when he did, he thought of his daughter -- and he tried to think of what he had done to turn her this way. Had she always been a bad egg. She and Indra both, did they both go bad together? Hiram believed it stemmed from Saena's influence on them when they were young. Perhaps if he had been there the whole time... they would have been different. So close to the border, Hiram made his way to intercept the wolf before she could wander any further, but when he got close enough to see the strangers features, he was stricken with a wave of recognition.
