"well, i'm certainly glad you've stuck around this long, hun," she told him quietly, feeling that was a sufficient thing to say. it felt right to say, actually, and while that made her rather uncomfortable to think about, it was also sort of reassuring... maybe settling wouldn't be such an awful thing. but... to be constrained to one person for the rest of her life? what a commitment that would be, and the skayona wasn't sure she had that in her. she pushed the thought away again.
